This unique umbrella takes inspiration from Katsushika Hokusai's famous print series, Shokoku Meikyō Kiran, specifically depicting iconic bridges across Japan such as the Tsurihashi in Hikyo, the Tenmabashi in Settsu, and the Togetsu Bridge in Yamashiro. The color palettes used in these artworks are thoughtfully integrated into the design of the parasol, enhancing its aesthetic appeal while maintaining its practical utility.

Modern interpretations of traditional elements, such as the Janome-gasa (snake-eye umbrella), are reflected in this design, achieving a stunning visual that resonates with both the past and the present. This innovative folding umbrella weighs in at only 205 grams, which is a full 90 grams lighter than Hokusai Graphic’s standard UV umbrellas, making it incredibly convenient for daily use and travel.
