Coverage Options
The insurance structure is built around two main pillars: medical coverage and death coverage.
1.
Medical Coverage: This component provides protection against out-of-pocket expenses incurred during hospital stays or outpatient surgeries, moving away from traditional daily allowance models. Members can choose from three types based on Japan's public health insurance system, as well as three levels of monthly payment caps (100,000; 200,000; and 300,000 yen). Additional options can be included to cover various costs associated with hospitalization, such as private room fees.
-
Monthly Example for Medical Coverage (30-year-olds):
- Male: 962 yen
- Female: 1,156 yen
2.
Death Coverage: Members can choose their mutual aid amount in increments of 1 million yen, up to a maximum of 50 million yen. This allows for flexible adjustments based on lifestyle requirements.
-
Monthly Example for Death Coverage (1,000,000 yen for a 30-year-old):
- Male: 1,030 yen
- Female: 700 yen
It is important to note that as a yearly renewable product, fees will adjust at renewal based on age and gender.
Member Experience and Communication
Following enrollment, members can expect a distinctive experience tailored to the online nature of the product. Utilizing platforms like LINE, there will be proactive communication to ensure that members feel connected to their cooperative. This modern approach is designed to keep members engaged and make the cooperative a familiar and supportive presence in their daily lives.
