FOTON Motor's Global Partners Conference Highlights Innovations in Commercial Vehicles
FOTON Motor's Ambitious Vision for Global Commercial Vehicles
On November 9, 2025, FOTON Motor gathered more than 2,000 attendees from over 140 countries in Beijing for its 2026 Global Partners Conference, themed "DRIVE TO GREAT." This significant event showcased FOTON's advancements in product innovation and strategic vision, with a clear emphasis on green and intelligent solutions aimed at transforming the commercial vehicle industry.
The highlight of the conference was the introduction of several groundbreaking platforms that signify FOTON's commitment to smart logistics and sustainability. The first major announcement was the launch of the GALAXUS platform, a cutting-edge heavy-duty truck series designed to redefine logistics efficiency. The GALAXUS platform supports a range of energy solutions, including fuel, electric, hydrogen, gas, and hybrid technologies. It is built on eight core design values aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and environmental sustainability.
Particularly noteworthy is the platform's electric drive system, which boasts maximum efficiency rates of up to 97.5%. Furthermore, FOTON's commitment to energy efficiency has led to a 7% improvement in overall energy consumption. With an autonomous driving capability that has been validated over 2 million kilometers, the GALAXUS lineup includes the R9, R5, and D3 models, specifically engineered for various logistics scenarios such as long-haul transport and express delivery services.
In its push toward addressing urban logistics challenges, FOTON introduced the DAYSTAR, an all-electric light truck platform. Developed with close attention to user needs, DAYSTAR addresses common issues such as charging difficulties and ownership costs. It incorporates innovative features like an 800V high-voltage architecture and silicon carbide controllers, resulting in a remarkable 20% improvement in energy efficiency. The design is further enhanced by a spacious cabin inspired by passenger vehicles, coupled with full-vehicle over-the-air (OTA) updates and thorough testing, totaling over 6 million kilometers, ensuring unmatched reliability.
For last-mile logistics, the company unveiled the Wonder Plus, a next-generation mini truck that offers extensive payload capacity and is characterized by the longest and widest cargo bed in its class. Designed for improved comfort and handling, it features a sophisticated double wishbone suspension system.
FOTON also introduced the CAVAN C1, the world's first exclusive new-energy van platform. This innovative design emphasizes adherence to global safety standards and pure electric mechanisms. Key features include a self-developed high-safety battery, a peak drive efficiency surpassing 93.5%, and the capability to achieve 100 kilometers of range in just 10 minutes through 2.2C fast charging.
Through this comprehensive new energy product matrix, FOTON is not only demonstrating its systemic strength but also asserting its leadership within the global electric logistics sector. With a strong focus on environmental responsibility and innovation, the company is positioning itself as a formidable player in the rapidly evolving commercial vehicle landscape. Their vision encompasses full product deployment and the cultivation of a dynamic global ecosystem that integrates and supports new energy logistics solutions.
The insights and advancements shared during the Global Partners Conference underscore FOTON Motor's ambition to inject "Chinese strength" into the global new energy logistics industry as they strive to revolutionize commercial transportation for the future.
