In a significant step towards nurturing future IT talent and enhancing community engagement, FamilyNet Japan (FNJ), located in Minato, Tokyo, made a generous donation of communication equipment to Nagasaki Prefectural University on July 17, 2025. The Department of Information Security at Nagasaki Prefectural University, established in 2016, holds the distinction of being the only program focused specifically on this critical field among four-year universities nationwide. With an annual intake of 80 students, the department actively engages in joint research with various companies and institutions, further igniting students' interest and knowledge in cyber security.

Professor Okada expressed his enthusiasm about the donation, highlighting the crucial role of real equipment in enhancing the learning experience. "These resources will undoubtedly enrich our students' understanding of network technology, laying a solid foundation for their careers in IT."
