In collaboration with McIlwain School Bus Lines, Inc. and Highland Electric Fleets, the initiative will introduce a total of 10 Thomas Built Jouley Type C electric school buses alongside a set of charging infrastructure designed for optimal efficiency.

The buses, capable of covering over 130 miles on a single charge, ensure consistent operational service, reducing vehicle maintenance costs and long-term expenses for the district. The charging infrastructure includes 30kW Zerova DC fast chargers that have been designed collaboratively with the NEC Group, enabling the buses to align with daily transportation routes while being ready for service when required.
