TPT’s Music Series 'Stage' is Back for a Fourth Season



Twin Cities PBS (TPT) is excited to announce the return of its acclaimed local music show, "Stage," for a fourth season. The series will premiere on April 7 at 9 p.m. on TPT 2, as well as be available for streaming on the PBS App. This season promises to spotlight Minnesota's rich musical landscape by featuring a fusion of well-known and emerging local artists, creating a unique blend of performance and storytelling.

Filmed at the historic 7th St Entry, a venue renowned for launching the careers of countless local musicians, each episode pairs different acts to showcase their talents and stories. The lineup for Season 4 is particularly exciting, including:

  • - April 14 – Your Smith with Raffaella

The series airs every Monday at 9 p.m. on TPT 2 and will have an early preview on The Current's 'The Local Show' from Minnesota Public Radio on Sunday nights. According to Kate McDonald, the show's producer, "Stage" is a tribute to the local talent and the powerful connections made through music. McDonald expresses excitement about introducing new voices while honoring established artists who continue to shape the music scene in Minnesota.

Last season, "Stage" received the Gracie Award from the Alliance for Women in Media, highlighting its commitment to diverse media representation.
