Experience Nature Through Art at Atelier Zephyr's Exhibition

This exhibition, titled "Saku Bou - Daily, Creatures," is scheduled from June 2 to June 14, 2026.
This remarkable event is co-hosted by Shibuya's Theatre Workshop Company, which manages and operates the Kaidanshitsu space. The initiative aims to create opportunities for artists to showcase their works in Shibuya, known globally as a center for art and culture. The venue provides a platform for Atelier Zephyr to share their vision, while also committing to support more artists in the future, turning Shibuya into a flourishing hub for artistic expression.
A Glimpse into Atelier Zephyr's Artistic Journey
Atelier Zephyr, born in Aichi Prefecture, has been active in the art scene since around 2010. The artist began by creating three-dimensional works using glass mini bottles and watercolor pencil illustrations. Currently, Atelier Zephyr employs digital illustrations and acrylic paints to depict various creatures and natural landscapes. The artworks focus on intriguing moments that highlight the charm and resilience of familiar creatures in their environment, capturing both the strength and the fragility of nature.
In this exhibition, Atelier Zephyr aims to represent the transition of time through the changing phases of the moon while drawing inspiration from the local fauna observed in Tokyo's Shibuya district. Guests can expect to see circular canvas paintings displayed on the walls of the gallery, designed to create a welcoming and warm atmosphere that encourages visitors to sit comfortably on the stairs and immerse themselves in the art. Atelier Zephyr expresses a desire for attendees to appreciate the warmth of wooden elements and the soothing light streaming through windows as they enjoy the exhibition.
