Digital Hollywood University Showcases at TGS 2026
Digital Hollywood University (DHU), a private institution recognized by Japan's Ministry of Education, will be showcasing
eight student-created works at the
Tokyo Game Show 2026 in the indie category. With its campus located in Ochanomizu, Tokyo, DHU aims to blend digital content creation with communication and marketing education.
As part of this initiative, the
Digital Hollywood Games (DHG) community was formed to foster continuous interaction among students, encouraging them to learn through game development. Established in 2024, DHG has enabled students from diverse backgrounds and years to collaborate, produce projects, and ultimately showcase their games at major events like TGS.
Starting in October 2025, students began accepting submissions for their projects, refining their work through multiple previews and emphasizing innovative display methods leading up to the event. With a shared goal of exhibiting at TGS 2026, the students have produced original creations that highlight their skills in game design and functionality.
