With the latest update, Philips Sonicare aims to significantly reduce its reliance on fossil fuel-based plastics by incorporating 70% bio-based materials into the brush heads. This shift not only aids in environmental conservation but also aligns with global standards for sustainable practices, as the new material is certified by the International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC).

In a further step towards sustainability, the packaging of all Sonicare brush heads will now be made from recyclable paper. Philips encourages users to follow local recycling guidelines when disposing of the packaging.
