On September 11, 2025, SenseDrive, headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, played a significant role in the planning and execution of Tokyu Construction's Open Company event. This initiative was specifically designed for the New Business Development team within Tokyu Construction's Innovation Promotion Department, led by President Terada Mitsuhiro.

Background of the Event


Tokyu Construction is steering towards the implementation of its VISION2030 objectives, which focus on continuously addressing and overcoming challenges in environmental sustainability and innovation. By classifying its domestic infrastructure and building renovation services as core operations, and international, real estate, and new business endeavors as strategic operations, Tokyu Construction aims to foster growth in these strategic initiatives through five main focus areas. Since the establishment of the Innovation Promotion Department in 2021, the company has worked to create a sustained framework for ongoing business development. A new job category was introduced in 2023 to attract new talent into this innovative sector.

The main goal of the Open Company event was to engage students and introduce them to the appeal and essence of working in new business development.

In recent years, many large companies have begun prioritizing new business development through dedicated divisions.
