Among their significant contributions, the subsidiaries have focused on supporting children's cafeterias and food banks, providing essential resources to help those in need.

Kanto Diet Cook, Tokorozawa Factory

Since October 2021, the Kanto Diet Cook facility in Saitama has focused efforts on donations to children's cafeterias and food banks by supplying long-life prepared meals. Alongside this, they have tackled food waste by utilizing surplus fresh meals that couldn't be portioned due to short shelf lives. In line with the company’s sustainability goals, they entered an agreement with local children's cafeterias this year, allowing for the first distribution of fresh prepared meals. They successfully provided approximately six tons of both long-life and fresh meals within the year.

Feedback from the cafeterias highlighted the appealing colors and nutritional value of the meals, culminating in a letter of appreciation from the Saitama Children's Cafeteria Network.

Diet Cook Shiraoi, Hokkaido

In Shiraoi, famous for its potato production, Kenko Mayonnaise has begun donating approximately 700 kg of processed potato products to local food banks since August 2024. This initiative has received positive responses regarding the versatility and practicality of the products offered.

Kanto Diet Egg, Higashimurayama, Tokyo

Starting in 2022, Kanto Diet Egg has facilitated donations of traditional Japanese side dishes, contributing up to 300 kg a year. Their 'WasaibanSai®' series has particularly garnered praise for its visual appeal and ease of preparation, proving to be valuable for cooking at children's cafeterias.

Diet Cook Supply, Fukuyama, Hiroshima

Fukuyama’s Diet Cook Supply has supplied approximately four tons of salads and prepared dishes to local NPOs annually, creatively utilizing local ingredients deemed unsuitable for market sale due to aesthetic imperfections. Their innovative offerings include calzones and seasonal pickles. Beginning in February 2026, they aim to broaden the reach by providing to local soccer player academies, ensuring that more people benefit from their surplus production.

Kyushu Diet Cook, Saga

Kyushu Diet Cook has participated in food bank initiatives since 2023 and plans enhancements based on insights gained from visits to nonprofit operations. They currently donate about three tons of various prepared salads and dishes each year, focusing on substantial, usable quantities that meet the diverse needs of the community.
