Celebrate 25 Years of Phantasy Star Online
Sega is excited to announce a special pop-up store to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the iconic Phantasy Star Online series. This exciting event will take place from
October 17 to November 3, 2025, at the
Kino Co. Shinjuku Main Store in Tokyo, specifically located at
1F THE ENTRANCE. Operated in cooperation with
Lam Corporation, this event promises a nostalgic stroll down memory lane for fans and gamers alike.
Experience Nostalgia and New Adventures
As part of the anniversary celebration, attendees can look forward to exclusive merchandise that spans from the latest installment,
Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis (NGS), to beloved characters from the original
Phantasy Star Online (PSO) and its follow-up,
PSO2. Merchandise will feature unique items created using the original in-game font, which many seasoned Hunters and Acquaintances will surely recognize.
What to Expect
Among the highlights of the pop-up store will be a variety of products, some of which include:

- - Unique collectibles including plush toys and memorabilia

Furthermore, a second pop-up store is planned from
December 5 to December 21, 2025, at

Phantasy Star Online Series Legacy
The Phantasy Star franchise began in 1987, marking Sega's first foray into the realm of role-playing games. The release of
PSO in 2000 on the Dreamcast brought a groundbreaking online multiplayer experience, allowing adventurers to connect in a shared universe, ultimately winning the
Japanese Game Awards in the process.
PSO2, released in 2012, followed as a direct sequel and became hugely popular, even inspiring two anime adaptations. In 2021, the series saw a significant upgrade with
