Growth of American Exhibitors at CISCE 2025
From July 16 to 20, 2025, Beijing hosted the
China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), which has emerged as a pivotal platform for global dialogue and partnership in supply chain development. Notably, the number of American exhibitors increased by
15% compared to the previous year, underscoring their role as the largest group of international participants at the expo.
Michael Hart, the President of AmCham China, expressed high regard for the CISCE’s initiatives aimed at enhancing cross-border cooperation and innovation. He stated, “The Supply Chain Expo serves as an excellent venue for communication and collaboration. I am pleased to announce a significant rise in American exhibitors this year, 60% of whom belong to the Fortune Global 500.” Furthermore, he welcomed
NVIDIA, a leader in American technology, as a first-time participant at the exhibition.
Yu Jianlong, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), emphasized the importance of the expo for fostering bilateral economic ties. He remarked, “The foundation of China-U.S. relations is built on people-to-people connections. At this critical juncture, both Chinese and American companies are taking concrete steps to strengthen cooperation in supply chain management, ensuring stability and uninterrupted operations at a global level.”
This year, AmCham China participated in CISCE for the first time with its own exhibition booth, showcasing innovative solutions and fostering partnerships alongside member companies. Michael Hart highlighted the
2025 Navigator program launched last year, aimed at advancing leadership in supply chain collaboration with Chinese regional centers.
Moreover, Hart noted the significant role of
Shandong Province in maintaining global supply chain resilience. Since the initial U.S. investments in Shandong in 1986, nearly
1,000 American companies have contributed to its development, transforming it into a vital trade partner. He noted, “Shandong is among the most dynamically developing provinces in China, excelling in manufacturing, agriculture, port logistics, and new energy.” The province’s robust industrial ecosystem, efficient infrastructure, and skilled labor force have attracted numerous AmCham China member companies to establish their manufacturing bases and regional centers there.
CISCE continues to be an essential platform for global cooperation in supply chains, offering businesses opportunities to explore new forms of interaction and stimulate economic growth. The exhibition showcased advanced innovations in supply chain management and enhanced cross-border partnerships.
