PURIS Expands Its Horizons with Creekside Acquisition

In a strategic move to bolster its environmental service capabilities, PURIS, LLC has announced the acquisition of Creekside, operating under the renowned Insight Pipe and IPC Services brands. This deal, finalized on February 24, 2025, marks a significant milestone in PURIS' journey as a leading provider of trenchless pipeline rehabilitation solutions.

Creekside, founded in 1989 by Michael Marburger, is recognized for its innovative trenchless pipeline rehabilitation services, specifically tailored for wastewater and stormwater sewer systems. The company's location in Harmony, Pennsylvania, serves a diverse range of clients across the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest. Creekside specializes in a variety of services including CIPP installation, cleaning, and CCTV inspections, focusing on municipal customers while also catering to industrial markets with specialized cleaning and fluid hauling services.

This acquisition is notable as it represents PURIS's first strategic undertaking following a recent recapitalization led by J.F. Lehman & Company (JFLCO) in 2024. Legal counsel for PURIS and JFLCO was provided by AO Shearman, with financing arranged by General Atlantic Credit, and PSP Investments Credit USA LLC serving as the lead investor. Additionally, Strategic Advisors acted as financial advisors, while Metz Lewis Brodman Must O'Keefe LLC offered legal counsel for Creekside.
