Cleveland Browns Join Forces with JumpStart Inc.

In a remarkable collaboration aimed at fostering local entrepreneurship, the Cleveland Browns have expanded their partnership with JumpStart Inc. This initiative, designed to empower entrepreneurs in Northeast Ohio, focuses on providing critical support and resources necessary for business growth and success.

Since the inception of their partnership in 2022, the Browns have sought ways to help small business owners in the Cleveland area reach broader audiences and establish beneficial connections outside their immediate circles. This year, the partnership is taking a significant leap forward, incorporating two vital programs: ScaleReady and the Trailblazer HealthTech Accelerator.

ScaleReady and Trailblazer HealthTech Accelerator

The ScaleReady program is tailored to assist growth-oriented small businesses as they refine their operations in anticipation of future expansion. In parallel, the Trailblazer HealthTech Accelerator marks the Browns' inaugural foray into supporting health tech startups, pairing one promising high-growth tech founder with intensive advising, weekly workshops, and valuable introductions to investors and customers. This holistic approach aims to guide founders toward achieving essential growth milestones.

Ted Twang, the Chief Administrative Officer of Haslam Sports Group, emphasized the Browns’ commitment to effect real change in their community. “Through our partnership with JumpStart, we've seen firsthand the positive impact that comes when small businesses access the right relationships and resources. We are dedicated to continuing our support for entrepreneurs and startups across Cleveland.”

The partnership also extends to participation in the VC Fest, an annual event that congregates founders, investors, and corporate leaders focused on bolstering the region’s startup economy. Browns play-by-play announcer, Andrew Siciliano, is set to moderate a keynote discussion with Robert Smith, a former NFL player and founder of the digital health platform, Fan Huddle, shedding light on the intersection of sports, health, and technology.
