Ain Group's Cool Oasis Initiative in Saitama

As part of our commitment to community support, Ain Group is partnering with Saitama Prefecture to implement the "Cool Oasis" initiative between April 22 and October 21, 2026. This program aims to mitigate heat-related illnesses by providing community members with air-conditioned resting spaces during the hot summer months.

What is the Cool Oasis Initiative?

The Cool Oasis initiative is a proactive measure taken by Saitama Prefecture in collaboration with local companies and public facilities. It seeks to establish temporary resting areas for citizens, along with disseminating crucial information regarding heatstroke prevention. The project is particularly vital as it aims to protect vulnerable populations during peak heat periods.

In our participating pharmacies across Saitama, we will prominently display stickers that promote heatstroke prevention. These pharmacies will function as temporary resting areas where community members can take a break from the heat. For those pharmacies equipped with water dispensers or tea machines, we will offer complimentary refreshments, such as water or tea, encouraging residents to hydrate adequately.

Participating Pharmacies

A total of 86 of Ain Group’s pharmacies in Saitama Prefecture will participate in the initiative. Each participating pharmacy will have stickers displayed to indicate their involvement in the Cool Oasis project.
