On December 4, 2025, the Ad Council hosted its 71st Annual Public Service Award Dinner, which took place at the Glasshouse in New York City. This prestigious event, led by renowned personalities such as Whoopi Goldberg, Sam Champion, and Jesse Palmer, successfully raised an astonishing $10 million. This incredible amount will support the Ad Council's ongoing commitment to driving social impact through various national campaigns.

The evening honored NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for his exemplary leadership and dedication to public service throughout his time in the league. Under Goodell's guidance, the NFL has made significant strides in community engagement, emphasizing cultural connection and promoting initiatives supportive of military families, youth health, and social justice, among other critical issues. Goodell accepted the Public Service Award alongside Victor Cruz, a celebrated former NFL player known for his contributions on and off the field.

The event brought together over 1,500 leaders from diverse sectors, including advertising, technology, and nonprofit organizations. It was co-chaired by Rita Ferro, President of Global Advertising at The Walt Disney Company and Chair of the Ad Council's Board of Directors, along with Tim Ellis, CMO of the NFL.
