Engaging Experiences Through the Five Senses
This year's festival was designed to allow participants to experience concepts of death through all five senses. This innovative approach included:
- - Academic Journal Launch: We introduced 414! (Yoi Shi!), a carefully curated publication that compiles insights from experts in various fields related to mortality, end-of-life care, and funeral culture.
- - Dialogue-Encouraging Cookies: The One Bite Death Perspective Cookie encourages individuals to contemplate their own views on life and death, serving as a great conversation starter.
- - Immersive Wellness Box 'AWAI': This space was designed to help individuals reflect on their feelings about life and death using sound and scent to guide their introspection. Plans are in place to develop this space further in busy environments, such as train stations.
