Puma Japan Partners with Yokohama Marathon 2026

Puma Japan, headquartered in Shinagawa, Tokyo, is excited to announce its official partnership as a sponsor for the Yokohama Marathon 2026, marking the third year of this initiative. Scheduled to take place on October 25, 2026, this event is designed to promote sports and enhance health, providing an enjoyable experience for everyone involved—from participants to supporters.

The marathon offers a variety of categories, including not just the full marathon but also a pair relay, a waterfront highway run, a Minato Mirai 7km run, and a fun run, ensuring that individuals of all ages can take part and enjoy the festivities.

In 2025, during the Yokohama Marathon 2025 on October 26, the event saw nearly 29,000 runners participate across all categories. The streets of Yokohama were transformed into a bustling track, filled with energy and enthusiasm from the runners. Through our sponsorship this year, Puma aims to support a diverse array of participants in their running challenges and contribute to the enhancement of running culture in Japan.

In an exciting first for this event, we will also launch a monitoring program called PROJECT FUN, designed specifically for participants of the Yokohama Marathon 2026. This innovative program will allow selected runners to experience Puma's latest running shoes during the race, gathering valuable feedback on their performance and comfort. This data will not only aid in future product promotion but will also influence upcoming product development.

Participation Criteria:

• - Must be a participant in the full marathon of Yokohama Marathon 2026.
