Each year, nursing students face one of the most critical decisions of their careers: where to begin their journey in the medical field. A recent comprehensive survey conducted by Bunka Broadcasting Career Partners gathered the views of nursing students graduating between 2024 and 2028 across Japan. The survey was conducted in December 2024 to April 2025 at a series of joint job fairs held in 13 cities across 12 prefectures.
With a total of
1,424 participating nursing students and
4,272 votes collected, this survey aimed to determine which hospitals are the most sought after by future nursing professionals. The insights will help both students and hospitals understand their standing in the competitive healthcare sector.

Yokohama
In the Yokohama job fair,
Kawasaki City Hospital emerged as the top choice. Students favored it for its desirable clinical practice areas. Interestingly, the
Kanagawa Children's Medical Center, known for its appealing educational system, secured the fourth position overall. Many private hospitals excelled in factors like educational quality and work atmosphere as well.
