About the Series

In 'Shikyuu Renai - Another -,' readers will follow the journey of the protagonist, Nagiko Kamigou, a 38-year-old woman who is happily married but has no children. Despite marrying later in life, Nagiko shares a strong bond with her husband, Takumi, and enjoys harmonious relations with her in-laws, as they all live together.

However, the pressure of expectations weighs on her as friends and family frequently inquire about their plans for children. Outside of her father, who runs a dairy farm, Nagiko feels no significant pressure from her surroundings.

Professionally, she finds fulfillment despite constant looming deadlines, but a longing for Takumi's child nags at her. With the reality of her advancing age becoming apparent, she is determined to begin serious fertility treatment this year after a lack of success with natural conception and Takumi's hesitance to fully engage in the process. Just as Nagiko resolves to take a serious step forward, she is blindsided by a shocking revelation from Takumi.
