Introducing WORKS Ale #45: thx :) Blue Mountain Ale
Autumn has officially arrived, and with it comes a new limited-edition craft beer from Yona Yona Beer Works called
WORKS Ale #45: thx :) Blue Mountain Ale. Starting on October 19, 2025, this exceptional brew will be served first at the Aoyama location, with a wider release at all outlets on October 23, 2025.
What is the WORKS Ale Series?
The
WORKS Ale series, crafted by
Yahho Brewing, introduces different beer styles for each release, highlighting unique and rare brewing techniques either inspired by current trends in the U.S. or innovative approaches less common in Japan. This series aims to surprise customers with every release.
The 45th installment pays tribute to the
Aoyama location's 10th anniversary and is specially brewed in collaboration with
Yaso, a company renowned for integrating forestry resources into their processes. For this ale, they utilized thinned timber from
Nagano Prefecture's red pine, embodying an environmentally-conscious approach to brewing.
The Scent and Taste of Autumn
Pouring this ale, one is immediately greeted by a light fragrance akin to apples, inviting you to take that first sip. The maltiness paired with a slight sweetness envelops the palate with joy, while the aftertaste quietly leaves behind hints of red pine, making the drink reminiscent of a tranquil autumn forest stroll.
Its beautiful red-brown color complements the rich, complex flavors, offering a depth that speaks of nature’s bounty. This sessional brew beautifully encapsulates the essence of fall – a perfect companion for those cozy, crisp evenings.
