Get Ready for the Ultimate Hide and Seek Adventure!

The Japan Hide and Seek Association and Job Live are thrilled to announce the second edition of the much-anticipated Deserted Island Hide and Seek 2025, set to take place from November 1st to 3rd, 2025. This exciting 2-night event on Tsumagashima Island, Nagasaki, invites 100 participants of all genders and ages (18+) to join in the fun. Participants will immerse themselves in a thrilling hide-and-seek game, where the only goal is to hide for two hours without being found!

Event Overview

The event includes two plans:

• - 1-Night, 2-Day Plan: November 2 – 3, 2025, for 24,800 yen. After the game, participants will enjoy a camping experience on the deserted island.
• - 2-Night, 3-Day Plan: November 1 – 3, 2025, for 45,800 yen. Enjoy one night at a traditional ryokan on Iki Island before participating in the game.

Sign-ups will begin on August 11th at 1 PM. This year’s event aims to promote the joy of playfulness among adults by bringing together individuals from various backgrounds, including university students, former Self-Defense Forces members, and more!

About Tsumagashima Island

Located close to Iki Island in Nagasaki Prefecture, Tsumagashima is an uninhabited island with breathtaking views and crystal-clear waters. The island boasts stunning cliffs, serene beaches, and rich flora with areas of primeval forest and wetlands. Until 2002, some residents lived on the island, leaving behind traces of history, such as old wells and building remnants. Visitors will discover the island’s unique charm, as it remains relatively untouched by tourism.

Rules and Tactics of the Game

This event is exclusively for adults (university students and older), featuring 10 seekers and 90 hiders. Those who are discovered by the seekers will then become seekers themselves. Participants will be rewarded points not only for stealth but also for capturing others, hidden time, and additional challenges. The rules are simple: camouflage yourself, blend into nature, and embrace the intense thrill of this ultimate hide-and-seek experience.

Enjoy the Island Life

After the game, everyone will gather for a barbeque on the beach and celebrate their achievements. The event will also include unique experiences like making rafts to escape the island, allowing participants to immerse themselves fully in nature's wonders.

Accommodation Options

For those wanting to enjoy more of Iki Island, the 2-night plan includes an overnight stay on the island before the main event. Participants can explore, enjoy tent saunas, and take in the landscapes.

About the Japan Hide and Seek Association

The Japan Hide and Seek Association is the official organizer of the national qualifiers for the Hide and Seek World Championship, where various teams from around the globe compete for the title. As a recognized body, the association is committed to establishing Japan as a hide-and-seek powerhouse through events like this.
