GHX Honors Healthcare Leaders with the 2025 Supply Chains of Distinction Award

GHX Honors Healthcare Leaders with the 2025 Supply Chains of Distinction Award

On March 17, 2026, the Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX) unveiled the recipients of its prestigious 2025 Supply Chains of Distinction Award. This accolade celebrates hospitals and health systems across North America that achieved remarkable supply chain performance throughout the year 2025.

Recognizing Excellence in Healthcare

The Supply Chains of Distinction Award specifically recognizes GHX-Exchange connected provider organizations that excel in executing “Perfect Order” metrics. These metrics encompass order accuracy, automation, invoice precision, and payment efficiency, serving as a comprehensive assessment of supply chain performance. The winning organizations are not only optimizing their transactions but are also dedicated to constructing resilient and intelligent supply chains, ultimately bolstering the core operations of organizations committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

This year's winners will receive their honors at the GHX Summit 2026, scheduled for May 11-14 at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans.

A Message of Resilience and Innovation

During a time when the healthcare sector grapples with increasing cost pressures, workforce limitations, and ongoing vulnerabilities in supply chains, these organizations exemplify that achieving operational excellence is both possible and critical. CEO Tina Vatanka Murphy emphasized the importance of automation, reliable data, and AI-driven insights in setting new benchmarks for supply chain leadership, enhancing resilience, supporting financial sustainability, and ultimately, improving patient care at reduced costs. Murphy stated, _“In doing so, they are helping shape a healthcare system that is more agile, more transparent, and better prepared for the challenges ahead.”_

Setting New Standards in Supply Chain Excellence

The 2025 recipients represent the top 25 performers categorized by transaction volume across three segments: Small, Medium, and Large. It’s noteworthy that segment classification is based on GHX Exchange transaction volume, rather than just hospital size or bed count, allowing for a more equitable performance comparison among providers. Additionally, five top performers within Canadian healthcare organizations are also recognized based solely on their Perfect Order metrics, highlighting their exceptional operational execution.

Every recipient achieved leading performance in Perfect Order metrics, demonstrating disciplined processes and a robust commitment to adopting digital solutions. This performance measure indicates how effectively an organization automates and optimizes its entire transaction process from purchase orders to invoicing and payments. Utilizing the Supply Chain Analytics dashboard within the GHX platform, customers gain nearly real-time visibility of this performance, promoting ongoing improvements and data-driven decision-making.
