In a recent report by RECMA, Omnicom Media has secured its position as the best performing media group globally, achieving the #1 ranking across its North American, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regions. This announcement is backed by the Network Diagnostics report, which evaluates the media agency industry.
Founded through the integration of Omnicom Media Group and IPG Mediabrands in December 2025, Omnicom Media stands out as the new powerhouse within the industry. Currently, the company commands a significant 30% share of the market, leading with almost 35% of the global quality share, substantially outperforming its closest competitors.
Among the impressive findings, four of the top ten media agencies listed in the report belong to Omnicom Media. Notably, OMD has maintained the #1 ranking for an incredible 11 consecutive reports, while other brands like PHD, Initiative, and UM have also secured highly competitive positions.
The RECMA report is respected within the advertising industry, meticulously evaluating approximately 700 agencies across 45 markets and utilizing 19 key performance indicators (KPIs). The analysis assesses various factors beyond just financial metrics, considering aspects such as client portfolio stability, innovation in data resources, and the consistency of service across regions.
As noted, Omnicom Media has achieved a Dominant profile designation in 19 markets, leading more than any other media group. Florian Adamski, CEO of Omnicom Media, emphasized that the organization sought not merely to be the largest player but aimed to wield its expansive scale intelligently to create a robust growth ecosystem for clients.
The report also highlights a remarkable start for Omnicom Media, marking its first 100 days with significant accomplishments, including multi-data partnerships with major players like Amazon, Google, Meta, Roku, Pinterest, and Walmart. The company witnessed an influx of $5 billion in new business and retention of clients, showcasing its growing influence in the media landscape.
Moreover, Delta, Dyson, and SkyShowtime have entrusted their global media investments to Omnicom Media, underlining the firm's reputation as a preferred partner in an evolving media market.
Regarding OMD, its continuous performance excellence was noted by RECMA, with the network ranking first in North America and EMEA for its digital, data, and content expertise. OMD’s sustained success reaffirmed strong leads, as it reported total billings of approximately $35.6 billion, outpacing competitors by a significant $4.4 billion, showcasing a consistent year-on-year growth of 9.5%.
