Pathways LA's Annual Fundraiser: Seeds of Hope 2026
On May 16, 2026, Pathways LA will proudly present its flagship fundraising event,
Seeds of Hope 2026: Havana Nights. This exciting gathering will take place at
The Millwick in downtown Los Angeles from
5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. With renowned KTLA 5 anchor
Wendy Burch as the emcee, the evening promises to be a blend of celebration, community engagement, and impactful fundraising.
As one of the most anticipated events of the year, Seeds of Hope aims to raise essential funds to support families throughout Los Angeles County. The mission of Pathways LA is to bolster families by enhancing access to high-quality early education and childcare services. Money generated during this event directly benefits critical programs such as resource and referral services, caregiver training, and family support initiatives that prepare children for academic success.
Guests attending this enchanting evening will be treated to live music, rum tastings, and even cigar rolling demonstrations, ensuring a vibrant atmosphere filled with cultural flair. Additionally, the event will showcase a lively
silent auction featuring an array of exclusive items and experiences. Attendees can bid on extraordinary opportunities like
VIP packages to see the champion LA Rams, exquisite
Kendra Scott jewelry, curated wine tastings, tickets to watch the
Los Angeles Dodgers, and much more.
A highlight of the event will be the presentation of the annual
Bea Gold Awards. These commendations honor community leaders whose enduring commitment to children and families demonstrates tangible impact. This year's recipients include:
- - PBS SoCal, awarded the Bea Gold Corporate Compassion Award.
- - The Nancy Painter Foundation, honored with the Bea Gold Compassion Award.
- - Mirabelle Guevarra, recognized with the Bea Gold Provider Award.
Tamika Farr, CEO of Pathways LA, emphasized the importance of these awards, stating, "These honorees represent what is possible when community partners come together to support children at their earliest and most crucial stages of development. Seeds of Hope is not merely a celebration; it is an urgent call to action to keep investing in families and the early learning systems that are vital to fostering lasting opportunities."
Pathways LA extends heartfelt gratitude to its early sponsors, including
Care Connect and
Capital Group, along with numerous community partner organizations such as the
Child Care Resource Center,
Connections for Children,
Drew CDC,
First 5 LA, and
Options for Learning, whose support plays a crucial role in the event's success.
