The Japan Football Association (JFA) is set to host the much-anticipated SAMURAI BLUE Festival from June 11 to June 28, 2026, at MIYASHITA PARK in Shibuya, Tokyo. This vibrant event aims to rally support for the national soccer team, which will compete on the world stage during this exciting period.

The festival embodies the spirit of the SAMURAI BLUE team and its motto, "The Best View for Our Greatest Stage 2026." With the collaboration of nine partner companies, the festival will feature a plethora of cultural and entertaining activities rooted in Japanese traditions, giving attendees a taste of a matsuri or festival atmosphere.

Event Highlights

As part of the celebration, the rooftop grass plaza on the fourth floor will be adorned with blue 'cheering lanterns' — the team color of SAMURAI BLUE. To create these lanterns, JFA will launch a crowdfunding initiative encouraging public donations from April 25 to May 6. Donors' names and messages will be printed on the lanterns, which will light up the plaza during the festival.

Participants can look forward to various exciting attractions reminiscent of summer festivals and yennichi, such as photo spots with official ambassador JI BLUE, unique food stalls featuring dishes inspired by the team's colors, as well as exhibitions from partner companies showcasing exclusive merchandise.

Open spaces and sponsor booths will foster community spirit, encouraging visitors to cheer for SAMURAI BLUE while enjoying the lively vibe of the festival. Reflecting a strong sense of unity, attendees will share in the journey towards the world competition alongside their national heroes.

JFA Pop-Up Store

Another highlight will be the JFA Pop-Up Store, located on the second floor of MIYASHITA PARK. The store will offer a range of official merchandise, including new items, from June 11 until June 28. This is your chance to take home exclusive items to support the team!

Support via Crowdfunding

Furthermore, the JFA seeks support from the community through its crowdfunding project titled "Lighting the Fire of Soccer."
