LiuGong Showcases Innovative Machines at CONEXPO 2026: A Commitment to Electric Solutions
LiuGong at CONEXPO 2026: Electric and Integrated Solutions
LiuGong, the global construction machinery manufacturer, made a strong impression at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 held in Las Vegas. The company displayed a remarkable lineup of 13 machines across various product categories, all under the unifying theme of "Tough Customers. Tough Equipment." LiuGong's commitment to delivering high-performing, reliable machinery that meets the diverse needs of urban construction, mining, and large-scale infrastructure projects was evident throughout the event.
Among the standout machines was the zero-emission 922FE excavator, along with the 870HE and 820TE wheel loaders, which signify LiuGong's growing electric equipment portfolio in the American market. These innovative electric machines are designed to reduce operational costs by more than 40% through lower wear part replacement, decreased fluid use, and simplified maintenance requirements. Moreover, their quieter operation and instant torque capabilities make them ideal for use in urban construction, demolition, and emissions-sensitive public sector projects.
LiuGong's electric equipment has successfully penetrated over 60 countries, achieving cumulative sales exceeding 60,000 units. This accomplishment reflects the increasingly urgent need for sustainable solutions in heavy machinery, aligning with global pushes towards environmental responsibility.
In addition to its electric offerings, LiuGong presented its diesel-powered machines, such as the 952F excavator and the 856T wheel loader, equipped with Cummins Tier 4 Final / Stage V engines. These machines focus on durability and nonstop operation, particularly suited for demanding applications in quarrying and mining despite challenging and remote conditions.
LiuGong also displayed specialized machines, including the 4215D motor grader and the 6608F roller, which enhance precision grading and compaction. These advanced technologies aid operators in reducing rework associated with inefficient material removal, thereby facilitating project timelines and cost control.
Completing its robust machinery spectrum, LiuGong introduced the TD16N Dozer, reinforcing its presence across essential earthmoving categories. The integration of standardized telematics and diagnostic systems among various machines ensures streamlined fleet management and after-sales support, making it easier for companies to manage their operations efficiently.
Enhancing customer engagement, LiuGong facilitated an onsite podcast series titled "Tough Customer Talk" at Booth F18033. The initiative featured discussions with customers and dealers sharing their first-hand experiences with LiuGong machines. According to Andrew Ryan, President of LiuGong North America, the company aims to be a reliable partner throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring seamless operations from the initial excavation to the final grading.
Prior to the main event, LiuGong hosted a two-day dealer conference to discuss industry trends, fostering partnerships with local dealers. Participants shared market practices, success stories, and strategies for the future, thus reinforcing the bonds within the LiuGong community.
A significant milestone during the event was the celebration of 30 years of collaboration between LiuGong and Cummins. Together, they have equipped over 300,000 LiuGong machines globally with Cummins engines, showcasing the strength of their long-standing partnership.
At a press conference on March 2, LiuGong executives outlined the company’s strategy for the future while addressing inquiries from key industry media, reinforcing their commitment to the U.S. market. LiuGong reaffirms its goal to adapt its product offerings to meet evolving jobsite needs, continuing to provide comprehensive solutions for a variety of applications.
As LiuGong strides forward, it remains dedicated to setting new benchmarks in construction equipment, ensuring clients receive dependable and innovative machinery tailored to their specific demands.
