Octopus Energy Partners with LG to Accelerate Electrification of Heating in Europe
On September 2, 2025, in London, Octopus Energy, the UK’s largest electricity retailer and a leading installer of heat pumps, announced a strategic partnership with LG Electronics, a global leader in electronics. This collaboration aims to deliver cost-effective and eco-friendly heating solutions to households across Europe.
The integration of LG’s advanced heat pumps and air conditioners with Octopus’s proprietary technology platform, Kraken, will allow users to operate their devices automatically at the most economical and environmentally friendly times. This combination will not only contribute to lower energy bills for homes but also reduce reliance on fossil fuels, helping accelerate Europe’s efforts to achieve net-zero emissions.
