Enhancing Corporate Sustainability: A Webinar on Nature SBTs

On March 4, 2026, Yachiyo Engineering Co., Ltd. will host a free online seminar titled "The Latest Trends in Nature SBTs and Accelerated Goal-Setting Techniques". This event aims to inform businesses about the pressing need for corporate disclosure related to natural capital, part of the growing urgency around climate change and initiatives such as TNFD (Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures).

Over recent years, the focus on establishing scientifically-backed nature-related targets through frameworks like the Science Based Targets for Nature (SBTs) has increased significantly. However, many corporate representatives express uncertainty about where to begin or feel overwhelmed by the challenges associated with data collection and evaluation, which can hinder progress toward goal setting.

In this seminar, we will welcome Ms. Eri Kakuta from CDP Worldwide-Japan, who will discuss the latest global trends in nature-related disclosures as well as the campaign "Step Up for Nature" designed to encourage companies to establish their sustainability goals. Along with practical insights from Yachiyo Engineering into the initial phases of implementing Nature SBTs, attendees will receive clear guidance on the goal-setting process broken down into manageable steps.

To address the myriad challenges faced by companies as they advance their sustainability initiatives, we will also introduce a novel approach called the 'Acceleration Pathway'. This will be illustrated with case studies highlighting effective strategies.
