Grounds, the innovative footwear brand managed by Fool Co. Ltd., is set to launch its much-anticipated Pre-Fall 26 collection entitled "Festivity". Beginning June 27, 2026, this new range will be available for purchase at the official online store, direct retail outlets, and various distributors.
The Theme: "Festivity"
The overarching theme of this collection is inspired by the idea of "Festivity"; however, it signifies more than just joy and revelry. It captures the relentless energy of roaring motorbikes and the rebellious spirit of those unwilling to remain still. This violent motion is intended to transform, much like the cultural observations seen in "Día de los Muertos" (Day of the Dead), shifting from a mere lament of loss to a celebratory ritual that honors the dead. The collection illustrates the contrast between the fragile, obedient entities living ordinary lives and the powerful forces that oppose them, telling a story of rupture and transformation against the backdrop of a festival that roars with the sound of engines.
The New Releases
This season, four new designs make their debut:

MOOPIE VERTIN: An evolution of the popular MOOPIE INVERT model, the MOOPIE VERTIN features PVC elements shaped like footprints on its upper, twisting between the top and bottom. The intricate design connects the upper's patterns and holes with the outsole to present the shoe as a singular, architectural object. This stunning shoe is priced at ¥49,500 and will be available in sizes ranging from 22cm to 30cm, with the WHITE/CLEAR and OCEAN/DEEP OCEAN options available in a slightly narrower size range.

JEWELRY PEBLACE: An adaptation of the JEWELRY PEBBLE model, this shoe incorporates beautiful design elements with detailed lacing. The gently flared opening towards the toe creates a new balance, while metal tips on the laces and a grounds-themed metal plate evoke the raw essence of motor culture from this season's theme. The JEWELRY PEBLACE is priced at ¥42,900 and will be available in sizes from 22cm to 26cm, launching on June 27.

ORCA CLASSIC: With its stripped-down yet classic upper featuring an antique finish, this model is effortlessly integrated with the voluminous ORCA sole to embody the concept of “memory” through the passage of time. Priced at ¥49,500, it will be available in sizes from 23cm to 29cm and will launch on July 25.

ORCA HANKIE SANDAL: Drawing inspiration from the basic JEWELRY HANKIE design, this stylish sandal has been revamped with an organic, dynamic outsole suitable for summer wear. Available for ¥49,500, sizes will range from 22cm to 26cm, launching on July 25.
