At the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) 2025 held from February 26 to March 2 in Vienna, the Esaote Group, a prominent name in medical imaging from Italy, proudly presented its latest advancements. Focused on enhancing diagnostic accuracy through innovative solutions, Esaote showcased an impressive portfolio that includes cutting-edge ultrasound technology and specialized MRI capabilities.

Among the highlights was the introduction of a new AI-powered platform named e-SPADES for MRI. Developed alongside the Amsterdam University Medical Center and AIRS Medical, this technology promises to reduce total scan time by up to 60%, all while ensuring exceptional image quality. This groundbreaking development aims to streamline MRI procedures, allowing clinicians to make quicker, data-driven decisions with enhanced confidence.

In the field of ultrasound, Esaote presented its advanced Augmented Insight AI technology, now integrated into its entire system portfolio, which spans from the flagship MyLab™X90 to the newly introduced MyLab™C30. This ultrasound series not only emphasizes portability and performance but also features Italian design cues, including a washable touch keyboard and gesture control trackpad. These innovations are expected to optimize workflows and improve patient outcomes significantly.

The new ultrasound platform also supports advanced applications, specifically targeting abdomen, prostate, and breast imaging. With these tools at their disposal, radiologists can perform precise minimally invasive procedures while enhancing both procedural safety and efficacy.

The event also marked a significant opportunity for EBIT, Esaote's IT healthcare solutions arm, to unveil the new SUITESTENSA ZefiRO. This innovative cloud-native PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) represents 25 years of expertise in enterprise imaging and incorporates the latest Zero-Footprint Technology (ZFP). With SUITESTENSA ZefiRO, healthcare providers have a flexible, efficient, and platform-independent way to view medical images, which is crucial for improved diagnostics and treatment management.

Furthermore, SUITESTENSA ZefiRO comes equipped with Suitestensa fAInd, an AI-driven platform designed to provide fast access to numerous clinical applications, thereby simplifying the reporting and workflow processes for medical professionals.
