Before joining Truist, Ford served as the executive vice president and regional president at PNC Financial Services Group in New York. Additionally, Ford has a rich history in public service, having represented Tennessee's 9th Congressional District from 1997 to 2007. During his congressional tenure, he served on influential committees, including House Financial Services, Budget, and Education, further establishing a robust network in Washington, D.C.

He has held teaching positions at prestigious universities, including the University of Michigan and New York University, to influence young minds in public policy and finance.
