Get Ready for the Monster Hunter Wilds Beta
The highly anticipated beta version of
Monster Hunter Wilds will be available from
August 5, offering adventurers a chance to dive into the game’s stunning early story and evolved hunting experience. This pre-release version allows players to fully enjoy the initial sections of the game while also providing the ability to transfer save data to the full version once it releases.
Step into the Wild World
Available on
PlayStation®5,
XBOX Series X|S, and
Steam, this beta presents an incredible opportunity for both newcomers and veteran players of the franchise. Those who have not yet ventured into the world of
Monster Hunter are encouraged to download the beta from digital stores and start exploring the immersive environments programmed to captivate players.
Players are invited to create their own hunters through an engaging character creation system. The beta enables you to play through the initial prologue and up to Chapter 1-3, where you will begin hunting new monsters like
Chatakabra and
Kematrix. Experience the thrill of evolving hunting mechanics through 14 diverse weapon categories, utilizing newly added concentrated modes and weak point attacks to exploit monster vulnerabilities and maximize your chances of victory.
Join Forces Against Monsters
In this demo, take on the formidable
Baraharah that lurks in the separated sands. Engage in local co-op with NPC support hunters using distress signals to help you take down your prey. While the beta is designed for offline play, you can summon NPC allies with these signals to aid in your hunts.
Once a quest starts, players can send out rescue signals for assistance, allowing up to four players to team up in the battle against the formidable monsters, although it's worth noting that full multiplayer features come with the official release.
