About the Author

Hideaki Yukawa is a distinguished figure in the field of agricultural science and biotechnology, holding a Ph.D. and serving as the CEO/CSO of CO2 Utilization Institute Co., Ltd. Following his graduation from the University of Tokyo in 1971, Yukawa engaged in research at Mitsubishi Oil Company (now Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation), specializing in biotechnology. He played a pivotal role in launching the bio-research functions at the Research Institute of Innovative Technology for the Earth (RITE) in 1993 and went on to become its dedicated director. In 2011, he founded Green Earth Institute, and later established CO2 Utilization Institute in 2015, where he currently leads as CEO/CSO.
